I had a neighbour who used to cough day in and day out. This was going on for years. His family was poor and did not have enough money for his treatment..His coughs were so loud that we were even able to hear them behind closed doors. He was an obese man in his late 50s. He used to chew tobacco which was the prime reason for his cough problems. Then one day I heard loud cries from his home. It was his son crying because he passed away that day...

I got this disease in 2020... After cutting my trees without mask...In about three weeks, I felt very weak.. no more swiming , shortage in breathing.. high fever ... weight Loss. Went to see my doctor in difficult time because of COVID.. After two weeks with antibiotics, my health situation got serious...Went to second clinic...and third ( Diagnosed with this bad disease 😢)...My doctor said that I had only 6 months to live... I was shocked..Lost oxygen in my lungs once I start crying...-( This symptom remain till now)- Was sent to fourth clinic.. that suggested aLung implant!!. Changed to fifth clinic.. it was a university hospital..where the treatment was changed, I spent 2 months...got better. Now almost 3 years have passed. I am still alive, few Symptoms appear from time to time.. Very sensitive to smells. Odors.. especially parfums, cigarettes, car pollution..etc.. What I want to say in my story with pulmonary fibrosis, if you don't feel better just change the hospital 🏥.. please...Go to university hospitals.. Keep hope 🙏 🍀. I am still alive❤. Sorry for my poor English 🙏.

Well I can tell you what happened to my husband. He asked me to drive hom to the hospital on 22nd of September 2022. He said calmly that he felt a heaviness in his chest. They found a 7cm mass on his left lung. He was dead by November 26th. Beyond horrific. That is the hard, realistic truth. Sorry everyone.

I know a GP doctor (we can call him Dr Andrew) who was diagnosed with brain cancer and in the time he had, he became increasingly unable to work or move per normal. So, he resigned himself to bed at home before receiving surgical treatment scheduled in the months ahead. He only opted for this approach after learning that the tumour had not grown for the last several months. He assumed his condition would become progressively worse and that dying at home was the best way forward. Soon after Dr Andrew's cancerous brain tumours were discovered, his medical team didn't believe they could operate successfully and Dr Andrew didn't want to take on any oncological therapy (as he believed that it would likely reduce his quality of life without benefit or success). What initially started out as just "unusual ongoing headaches", in just a few weeks, had turned from a medical professional now unable to function in his role due to increasing symptoms including overwhelming fatigue and cognitive difficulties. Unfortunately, Dr Andrew was left with few choices in those following weeks but to rest in bed with home care & support. It was fair to say that Dr Andrew accepted his circumstance and was prepared to die at home when his time was up. He had great care as Dr Andrew reported that his family was wonderfully supportive. All Dr Andrew could do was wait in bed as his condition was believed to eventually take his life. This man decided while lying in bed, week after week, to do something that would give him a quality of life that he could not obtain from outside of himself. He decided that he could do nothing but breath with a sense of joy. His breath in was assigned a sense of gratitude while his breath out was filled with joy. Over and over he continued this practice. He became to good at it and did it so religiously, that months went by and his overall well-being improved enough to warrant further investigation. The tumours had shrunk enough that surgical intervention was possible from the medical teams perspective. These medical champions were perplexed to say the least according to Dr Andrew. They had scheduled him in for an operation in 2 weeks. But by the time they operated, the tumours were very small and were removed with ease. Dr Andrew can say with confidence that he had influenced his disease, or at least that's how he felt considering that there were no other explanations.

Its been 22 months sense my diagnosis of stage 3 lung cancer... my stats say that my "NEC" cancer will live in me for 40 months. My prognosis is such that they tell me I will die from a brain cancer or the shots keeping the cancer at bay will thicken my heart valve and I will die of a heart attack. I'm viewing everything from a new perspective and seeing things much differently now.

Cigarettes kill people whether that those who smoke or those who aren't don't smoke but inhale those who do smoke cigarettes. Here in NZ, this is over 5,000 deaths per year, not sure what other countries that cost in the way of lives. I don't judge anyone who smokes, whoever you are, but WHAT COST DOES THIS TAKE. a family life or someone know you of???? Smoking causes Tar, cancer and nicotine poisoning in the lung region. Without proper lung function, you are more likely to die because of it. This is a sad waste of life, and on top of that COVID, with those who do smoke are passing on their COVID bugs on to others too. RUclips COVID and smoking, Yes, there is much research done that when someone has had COVID or got over the infectious stage, but still got COVID in their life, when someone does smoke outside, their bugs if they have COVID in their lungs CAN PASS THIS ON TO SOMEONE WHO HASN'T HAD THE VIRUS. The cigarette itself when smoked, the droplets in the smoke can be easily passed on to any person, either close by or when someone is smoking in the car waving their cigarette outside, and can travel from one place to another very fast. Matt
